Covid-19 Updates

We’re closely following the ever-changing news around coronavirus (COVID-19). This pandemic has in many ways changed the way that we lead our daily lives, from cutting off most human interaction to changing the way we work, to changing the things that we buy (and how they’re delivered). These changes have led us to make some updates of our own over the last few months for the safety of our employees. We are currently delivering in GTA and closeby regions, so you can still send gifts to your friends and loved ones, especially during these times when seeing people in person may become more difficult.  At the same time, our primary concern is the well being of our team and customers, so we are implementing new protocols and enhanced safety measures. 
 

Dietary restrictions & Allergens.

Cake Gift Co products are made using shared equipment which processes dairy, nuts, wheat and other materials as such we are not an allergy-free facility. If you have severe allergy, please know that while we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee cross-contamination under any circumstances. For customers with severe allergies, please ensure to read the product descriptions carefully for any allergens before placing your order.

We specialize in delivering a beautiful selection of cakes and sweets, all of which are freshly baked and designed at our Fine Cakes By Zehra's fully certified and state of the art facility. Our website offers as is designs but for any custom designs please contact Fine Cakes By Zehra.

Placing an Order?

1. Although we offer guest checkout, we highly recommend creating an account for an easier way to keep track of your order. To create an account click on the log in our main menu header and follow the steps.

2. After logging in to your account, click "Shop All" on the top left of the screen and browse through any category of your interest.

Every cake has been lovingly hand designed with only the best ingredients. Our cakes arrive almost exactly as pictured. Small amounts of natural variation can be expected as each cake is individually hand designed for each order.

We do not offer written messages on the cakes itself.

If you're more custom design inclined, you're welcome to reach out to our parent company via Fine cakes By Zehra for a custom design.

Since we cannot change the designs, we do offer the ability to personalize your order with add-ons and your own message card which is printed in a handwritten style font for a personal touch.

Step 3. Click make it a Cakegram and checkout.

Please provide a phone number so we can troubleshoot any issues if they come up. If you are sending to a commercial address, be sure to include the company/business name on the order.

1. Order by 5PM for a next day delivery or pickup
2. IMPORTANT:  Double check your Delivery Date!

4. Message writing: Get witty or sentimental as the occasion merits, and add your heartfelt message. Your message is printed in a handwritten style font for a personal touch. 

We can not write any messages on the cakes itself.

1. IMPORTANT:  Review all your order details! Most of our orders cannot be modified or canceled after you place it, so treat every order like it is FINAL. Our orders are submitted directly into production, we are unable to modify or cancel your order.

2. Input your promo code if you have any.

3. Pay by credit cards & input your details, then scroll down to click the "Review" button.

4. Review your order! Make sure you did add that promo code etc and didn't forget the all delivery details etc! 

5. IMPORTANT:  You will know your order is complete when you are routed to the success page containing your order number

My Order

We are happy to assist with changing your personalized message so long as email us within two hours of placing your order.

The delivery date and time can be changed via a order correction email within one hour of order placement. Our team will start baking your cake immediately after 5pm.

The delivery address can be changed via a order correction email within one hour of order placement.

The flavour can be changed via a order correction email within one hour of order placement. Our team will start baking your cake immediately after 5 pm.

Refunds and Cancellations - Your purchase is final and nonrefundable. No product may be returned or refunded except for damaged Products.

Exchanges - We do not accept any Product exchanges.

Damaged Products -We photograph our products upon delivery and will ensure that the products are delivered at the correct address as promised. If for some reason the Product arrives damaged (”Damaged Product”), Company will provide a replacement product if the original (damaged) product is returned by you and received by company OR a photograph showing damage is received by Company within 1 hour of delivery.  Provided that Company confirms that your Product was a Damaged Product and was returned in accordance with this agreement, your sole and exclusive remedy is that we will send a replacement product. In the event that company is unable to provide a replacement Product or if replacement is not requested by customer, company may at its sole discretion elect to refund in the original amount of the purchase.

1. Where is my note?

Each gift from Cake Gift Co comes with the option to send a personalized note. Our Message cards are included in the white envelope. Please check this envelope for the message card.

In the event that the sender did not choose to include a message, you will not receive a note.

2. My order is late

We pride ourselves on timeliness and understand the importance of punctuality.

If your order is running late, please reach out to our Team at info@cakegiftco.com so we can make things right! We're happy to help!

3. I haven't received my order or delivery confirmation emails

Order confirmations, shipping confirmations, and delivery confirmations are all sent via email from orders@cakegiftco.com

When in doubt, check your spam folder.

If you're a Gmail user, check the Promotions and other tabs. 

If your Cake gift Co account is associated with a work or business email address, check with your IT team regarding whitelisting our domain and checking the firewall. 

If you've read the above tips, and you're still unable to find any emails from orders@cakegiftco.com, there may be a typo in your email address. If you think this is the case, please reach out to our Team at info@cakegiftco.com. We will double-check your account details, we can update your account if necessary, and we can resend any transactional emails to ensure your records are complete. 


4. I have a quality complaint


If your order isn’t up to par, we would be happy to make things right. Please reach out to our Team at info@cakegiftco.com with your order number and the quality issues you encountered - we will work with you to find a solution! Please include photos of the issues reported as it helps us pinpoint the source of the problem, and prevent future issues for you and other customers. 

5. My order has missing items

We understand the importance of ensuring your order is accurate. If for any reason it appears your order may be missing items, please reach out to our team at info@cakegiftco.com so we can make things right!


6. The wrong order was delivered

1. Thanks for sharing the love! To refer friends and family, please click on "Give $25,get $25 button on the top left corner of the page . Either sign up or login to your Cake Gift Co account and follow step by step process.

Returns, cancellations and exchanges

Refunds and Cancellations - Your purchase is final and nonrefundable. No product may be returned or refunded except for damaged Products.

Payment & Promos

We accept most major credit cards (Visa, AMEX, MasterCard, Discover), as well as PayPal, ApplePay.

You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is placed, this will act as a digital receipt.

This confirmation email contains all the necessary elements of a receipt, including an itemized breakdown of your order, recipient details, and the purchase total.

If you need another copy of your confirmation email, please reach out to our Team at info@cakegiftco.com with your order number and the email address associated with your Cake Gift Co account. 

You can absolutely order from a different city or country! You can complete your order quickly & securely online using Apple Pay or PayPal. We require Canada-based phone numbers for both the Customer and the Recipient. If this poses a problem, please reach out to us at info@cakegiftco.com so we can assist. If there are any delivery issues, our Team will follow up via email. 

Our payment processor, relies on the bank to verify the postal code on the billing address. You may receive this error if you’ve moved or updated your address recently. Try using the postal code from your previous residence if your current postal code isn't working. If the issue persists, we suggest calling your bank to ensure they have accurate information on file.

We're an e-commerce business, so we take all our orders for delivery online through our secure and easy to use website.

We do custom wedding cakes designed t and other events. Contact our parent company Fine Cakes By Zehra to place your order.

We support most browsers, but for the best user experience and security, we recommend using Google Chrome.  Firefox and Safari are also great choices.
